Allie + Britton were married back in August and I am JUST getting around to blogging their sweet wedding day! I first met Allie when she was just a little bridesmaid at her older sister's wedding a few years back, it's always fun to work with a family I've already had the pleasure of photographing the past. Also, I love photographing weddings of high school sweethearts, as is the case with Allie + Britton! Congrats to them!

I've been looking forward to posting this wedding for over a month! I realize that I've been on maternity leave and completely LOVING hanging out with my little newborn Monroe, but it's been nice to try to get back into the swing of things as far as my photography business goes.
Remi + Kristin's wedding was one of those days of shooting that I felt grateful for my abilities and honored to be part of such a significant occasion. Remi + Kristin actually booked Justin and I to shoot their wedding before I found out I was expecting a bun in the oven. When I realized my due date (just two weeks after their wedding date) I nervously called Kristin + Remi to discuss the situation and they were BEYOND understanding and still wanted us to photograph their big day regardless. What a huge blessing that was and I feel super grateful to have this sweet couple as clients! I am SO glad that I was still able to work this amazing wedding with Justin!
Who says that groomsmen are the only ones that get to have cool socks?! Check out these rockin' Yo Gabba Gabba socks that the ring bearers had on!
My favorite shot of the day!
Kuddos to the So Happi Together team for putting on a sweet wedding reception at the Renee Henry Segerstrom Concert Hall!
My favorite detail of the day: the wedding invitation stationary! Such a rad design, check out the wording!
I think that the next three images truly display the funny personalities of Kristin + Remi! They had us laughing all day long!

When I shot Borami + Anthony's engagement session and after getting to know them I knew that everything about their wedding was going to be timeless! Justin and I thoroughly enjoyed this day, the venue was gorgeous (Saddlerock Ranch in Malibu), the couple was gorgeous, the ambiance was gorgeous, and we were able to work again with the lovely ladies of Events of Love And Splendor!

Love this set! I am in LOVE with your blurred out couple pic on the carousel! If you are comfortable, what lens did you use for the dancing couple pic with the extreme blurred background? It looks like a tilt shift of some sort to me. If so, do you have experience with more than one tilt shift or do you have a preference of one over another? One of my favorite venues in Downtown Los Angeles is at Cafe Pinot right in front of the LA Library. It's right in the heart of all the buildings. Driving by you would never guess that it's a wedding venue, but when the sun goes down and the wedding is all set up, it's a sight to see! This is where Fred + Grace held their wedding. I've shot there once before, so I was definitely looking forward to doing it again! What a fantastic day, sweet bride + groom, and Angie Sloan by my side second shooting!
We started with prep photos at The Standard...that's always a good place to start out a wedding day!:)
The tulle on Grace's dress was unreal, so much, and SO much fun! This was my favorite detail of the day! Grace's dress by Vivian Lee of Tomato Weddings.
