In the very rare occasion when I'm unable to shoot a wedding, our clients will opt to hire Justin to be their wedding photographer (that is when he isn't busy working away producing some crazy kids television show or making a movie). Justin chose to bring along none other than the amazingly talented Matt Sloan as the second shooter. Together they were the dream-team and got some fantastic shots! Here's Tiffany & Wylie's wedding!

I heart Tessa + Jay...seriously, I've been looking forward to their wedding day since I shot their engagement session in Downtown LA!
With Nancy from So Happi Together coordinating the day, Nicole DeAnne working the hair & make-up, & Jason Roger by my side as a second shooter, the day could only be amazing...and that it was!

Jennifer + David are two sweet individuals! I was honored that they chose Justin and I to be their wedding photographers, especially since we had only met via email through Angel Swanson from Events of Love and Splendor. Both Jennifer + David had experienced a ton over the last year, not to mention surviving the huge earthquake that happened in Japan in March!
The entire wedding took place at the Ritz Carlton in Marina Del Rey.
Nicole DeAnne was Jennifer's hair & make-up artist...love this shot!
Strangely enough, this is my favorite shot of the day...intrigued by the innocence and symmetry of it!

The wedding of Connie + Stefan has definitely been on of my favs from this year to work on! Everything about it was so sweet, classic, & stress-free! Seriously, Connie + Stefan were so happy to be getting married that they had not a worry in the world on the big day! That's what I love to see, couples that focus all of their energy on the actual reason of the day, not just on the little details. It was refreshing!
The flowers were amazing, the peonies were my favorite! Awesome work by Blomma Bloem Designs!

Heather + Sean were married a few weeks ago in Los Angeles at the LDS Temple there. It's always a delight to shoot on these grounds since this is where Justin and I were married nearly 9 years back! Also, we are constantly being challenged each time we shoot at this location to recreate ourselves as photographers so that each couple gets a unique set of photos for their wedding day.
Here are my favorite portraits from Heather + Sean's wedding day!
People often ask if Justin and I ever get "timeless/classic" portraits of the bride and groom. The answer is yes, we just don't always post them on our blog;) Love this one of Heather + Sean.
Heather + Sean had this crazy idea of incorporating guns into their photos somehow. It was fitting since they both love shooting, hunting, fishing, camping, and basically anything to do with the great outdoors.
