Mariel + Sol were married on September 26th at The Summit House in Fullerton. I was lucky enough to have my talented photographer friend Ryel J join me as a second shooter. It was a sweet day!
Mariel + Sol decided to meet up before the ceremony and have a first glance in order to have more time for photos, so glad that they did because we were able to get most of their portraits in with amazing natural light. I highly recommend to all of my winter clients to do a first glance prior to the ceremony. Its the perfect set up to have an hour to yourselves before all the craziness of the day starts and its more beneficial for us, especially with the sun going down so early, it would be difficult to get the amount of coverage in if you were to wait until after the ceremony, family portraits and wedding party portraits. Its a great suggestion!
Introducing Mr. + Mrs. Solavann Sim!
One of my first shots of the day and its my favorite! LOVE the sun-glare!
Congratulations Mariel + Sol! Want more?! Click here to see more photos from their day with an online slideshow.

This wedding has been especially fun for me to work on since I personally didn't actually shoot it. On this very rare occasion that I was not available to shoot a friend of a friend's wedding, the groom, Anthony, ended up hiring my amazingly talented husband to capture this big day. Justin was lucky enough to get our rad (and very skilled) photo friend Mark Brooke to second shoot with him on that day. I really think their work complimented each other's so much! It was fun filtering through all of the images and I had a super difficult time only choosing 25 for the blog (I usually try to get it down to 20, but like I said, 25 made it in).
You may recognize Anthony + Lindsey from the engagement session we shot with them back in August down at the Montage in Laguna Beach.
Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys this post as much as I did!
Amazing job to Justin and Mark and a huge congratulations to Anthony + Lindsey! Click here for their online slideshow!

Get your face out of my face! What can I say more that will make you stop the amazingness. As a photographer (zero) looking at your blog is like watching Tony Hawk pull a 900 and then strapping on your pads and hitting the wood vert. You probably won't get the same response out of your board even though your riding the same one, and a 900 is really not as easy as he makes it look. So, the end all here is...I like you and can't wait for the next episode.

It was great working with Kelly + Mike on their engagement session and on their wedding day, especially after hearing how they had been following our work for quite some time (nearly two years!). Since we shot their engagement session so close to their wedding day I thought I would just combine the two together for this blog post. Introducing Kelly + Mike!
The engagement session...
What a fabulous day! To see more photos click here for Kelly + Mike's slideshow!
Ps. Nicole DeAnne did an amazing job on Kelly's hair and make-up for the engagement session and is also responsible for Kelly's fabulous hair-do on the wedding day!

Jeramy + Shelley were completely fabulous to work with, I think we had an extra rad time since Jeramy is family (well, now Shelley is too!). Anyway, Jeramy is Justin's first cousin and he and his lovely fiancee emailed us right after they got engaged. We were ecstatic that they chose us to photograph their wedding because for one, we've been wanting to have an excuse to visit Justin's family in Idaho, and for two, the idea of shooting in Idaho sounded amazing with all of the farmlands mixed with urban brick buildings! We could hardly wait! As we got to know Shelley, via our emails, we fell in love with her personality and were more than happy that she was joining our family!
Jeramy + Shelly scoped out a few locations for us before we arrived and the first location was absolute genius!
Two major pluses to this marriage are Shelley's two adorable daughters!!! Jeramy is a lucky guy!
My favorite shot of the day!
Don't worry Shelley, your secret is safe with us! ;)
Justin's crazy attempt at getting a better angle...
...WELL worth it!
Anyone recognize the pattern behind them?!
Balloons, balloons, balloons make me happy!
Don't we make a HOT couple!!?! :)
Hudson having a drink with his cousin.
Congrats, congrats, congrats to Jeramy + Shelley, we love you both! Can't wait for our trip to Disneyland together! Click here to see their slideshow!

Neville + Esther were married on September 6th, 2008. The wedding was held at the Shade Hotel in Manhattan Beach, I fell in love with this venue, so clean and modern! You may recall this amazing couple from their engagement session at The Camp in Costa Mesa a few months back.
We absolutely enjoyed this day, especially because the personalities of Neville + Esther completely shined through in every aspect of their wedding! From the decor, to the venue, to the radical band music during their ceremony, and back to the love of their friends and family....it was awesome, to say the least! This wedding definitely made it to our top ten list for weddings of 2008!
I started doing this new thing with portraits of brides before they get into their wedding dress, here's Esther's moment!
My favorite shot of the day!
My second favorite shot of the day....good job Justin!
Congrats to Neville + Esther, what an awesome day!!! Want to see more photos from their day?! Click here for their slideshow.
