This engagement session with Sarah + Gabe at the Union Station in Downtown LA renewed my love for photographing engagement sessions...not that I had fallen out of love with shooting engagement sessions, but when a fun couple comes along with a rad location, it gives me a good reminder of why I love being a "photographer of love". Cheesy as it may sound, it's true!:) Wow, just realized how many times I said the word "love" in that paragraph, lol!

Eiman + Todd's wedding was absolutely delightful! They were hitched at the Tournament Players Club in Valencia on October 1st and I'm super excited that I finally get to show off their wedding on the blog!

I remember when Justin and I shot Ron + Kristine's wedding I was two weeks from giving birth to my little Sloan, I ended up delivering one week later. Now, a little over three years later, Kristine + Ron welcomed a little one of their own into this world. It's always fun when wedding clients hire Justin and I after their wedding as their family grows. There is something so satisfying to see the love and happiness expand in a marriage and in a family, then to be able to capture it and freeze it forever is what makes me absolutely LOVE what I do! Congrats to Ron + Kristine on your new little addition, can't wait to get her in front of my camera hopefully in the near future!
Justin and I take photos of each other shooting all the time, I just never post any, I think that might change, it's kind of fun to see a little behind the scenes!

Happy Black Friday everyone! If you're like me you skip going to the mall and would much rather sit at home, away from the crowds, and take advantage Black Friday sales online!
TOTALLY RAD ACTIONS! is having the biggest sale they have every had, they are dropping their prices to a record low for 24 hours! Nothing in their store will be over $109!
I LOVE these action sets and use them day to day when adding artistic edits to my photos in photoshop (they also have presets for Lightroom). Not only do these actions add cool color tone to your images, but also increase the quality and professionalism like you wouldn't believe! Viv + Lloyd's wedding was truly amazing! Amazing in decor, amazing in emotion, & amazing in love! The big day took place right in front of Public Library in the heart of Downtown LA. Not only was this venue killer, but the decor rocked it too!
Second favorite shot of the day! Loved the teeny-tiny heart confetti that was passed out at the ceremony!
My favorite item of the day: the little heart pillow with colored pin-heads used for the money dance.
So fun, there was a silhouette artist for all the guests to get their silhouettes cut out, brilliant!
Also, I wanted to give a big shout out to all the fun vendors I got to work with that day:
Nancy & team with So Happi Together coordinated the event, Nicole DeAnne worked the lovely Hair & Make-up, My Sweet & Saucy and their to-die-for desserts, & Will Kim as my second shooter.
