Nearly six years ago Ana came into our lives! Since the beginning, she has been a total sweetheart and everyone fell in love with the wonderful energy she added to our family! Fortunately for us, SHE fell in love with my little brother Michael and we couldn't be happier that Michael has decided to marry her! I'm so happy to be able to capture them during this sweet time in their lives together! Ana also happens to be the BEST nanny on the planet! She willingly takes care of our kids a few times a week while Justin and I work our two businesses, what life saver she has been as well! My heart is full for Michael to be marrying such a wonderful person! Congrats on the upcoming wedding you two!
Of course my wonderfully, talented sister Nicole DeAnne did Ana's hair and make-up for this engagement session!

The first time I met Mara + David was on their wedding day! They came all the way from New York City for their wedding day! Since Mara is a Southern California native they decided to hold the wedding in Escondido at Mara's parents' beautiful nursery. What a lovely venue! The nursery (Oasis Water Efficient Gardens) was full of succulents and orange trees, Justin and I had so much fun working with the available surroundings!
Mara + David were such a fun unique couple, every detail about their day was so well thought out and matched Mara + David so well!
I had to start this entry off with my favorite shot of the day! It just felt appropriate!:)
My favorite detail of the day: Mara's bouquet!!! Great job to Robyn from My Fair Flowers for making this and for coordinating the wedding day!
One amazing element that really set the tone for all the guests as they arrived were the conga drummers! I could here the drums throughout the entire nursery and it added such a wonderful energy to the wedding day!
Instead of a "cake cutting" there was a cake piñata! Brilliant!
