A few weeks ago Justin surprised me with tickets to see The Killers live at the House of Blues in Las Vegas. Just one week prior to this we were hired by a couple from Las Vegas (Morgan + Jake) to shoot their wedding in January and have since been emailing back and forth trying to figure out when and how we could get together to shoot their engagement session. The surprise trip to Las Vegas was a perfect excuse to "kill two birds with one stone" and photograph this adorable couple while making it a trip to see The Killers in concert (which was AMAZING, one of my favorite bands of all time, thank you sweetheart!).

It was awesome meeting Morgan + Jake and they were great in front of our camera, especially with never meeting us in person until we pulled up at the Mandalay Bay valet parking, which is where we picked them up and drove around town. Here are some of our favorites from that session:

Shooting in Las Vegas was super fun, there was so much to work with, we didn't even scratch the surface! We are looking forward to the wedding in January!

This wedding has been especially fun for me to work on since I personally didn't actually shoot it. On this very rare occasion that I was not available to shoot a friend of a friend's wedding, the groom, Anthony, ended up hiring my amazingly talented husband to capture this big day. Justin was lucky enough to get our rad (and very skilled) photo friend Mark Brooke to second shoot with him on that day. I really think their work complimented each other's so much! It was fun filtering through all of the images and I had a super difficult time only choosing 25 for the blog (I usually try to get it down to 20, but like I said, 25 made it in).

You may recognize Anthony + Lindsey from the engagement session we shot with them back in August down at the Montage in Laguna Beach.

Anyway, I hope everyone enjoys this post as much as I did!

Get your face out of my face! What can I say more that will make you stop the amazingness. As a photographer (zero) looking at your blog is like watching Tony Hawk pull a 900 and then strapping on your pads and hitting the wood vert. You probably won't get the same response out of your board even though your riding the same one, and a 900 is really not as easy as he makes it look. So, the end all here is...I like you and can't wait for the next episode.
