The first time I met Alicia was back in September of 2006. She was the videographer for one of my client's weddings and saw our work on a slideshow we put on display at the reception. She grabbed one of our cards and kept it ever since then. I always get so excited to hear about how our clients find us, this particular situation was flattering since Alicia had kept our card for so long until it was her time to shine with her fiancee Joey. We shot their engagement session at the Irvine Park and I had Jason Roger there by my side to help me out. Introducing Alicia + Joey engaged!

Nicole + Rich decided to tie the knot in Newport Beach at the Balboa Inn on April 25th. We never really noticed this quaint hotel facing the ocean, but immediately fell in love with its romantic and intimate setting. What made the day even better was working with Nicole + Rich, they were so easy to photograph and ever since their engagement session we were happily looking forward to the wedding day!
We set up a first glance for Nicole + Rich and it was the perfect way to kick off such a rad day!
My favorite shot of the day!
One of my favorite moments of the day was during the ceremony when a very emotional vocalist was saved by her husband (groomsman) to help her finish the song...it was pretty sweet!

Last week we photographed some our favorite people that exist...THE KAISER FAMILY! Many of you may know these amazingly talented peeps as Nate and Jaclyn of The Image Is Found.
Here's a little back story about how we came to know The Kaiser clan:
About three years ago we hired The Image Is Found to shoot our family pics (scroll down about 4/5ths of the way and you'll see us) after having blog stalked their work for quite some time. Nate invited us back to a viewing session in their studio and then invited us to dinner with he and Jaclyn that night. We quickly agreed because we already thought they were the coolest people alive and why wouldn't we want to become friends with them?!!! We hit it off, to say the least, and now Hudson thinks that Grace is his best friend! Flash forward three years and many awesome memories later, they ask US to shoot THEIR family pics! We were flattered of course and glad to do it! I am so happy to have them around and to call them friends!
My favorite shot of the day! I do have to give credit where credit is due, Nate was the one that taught me how to use off camera lighting...thanks Nate!!!
On a little side note, Nate and Jaclyn are photographing our little family tomorrow and I CAN NOT wait!!!!

I was drawn to Nancy + Edward from day one! They both are such sweet and sincere people and I was ecstatic when they decided to hire us for their wedding day and engagement session! We decided to go to my trusty shooting grounds in Downtown Fullerton (I say trusty because I can always find something new and interesting to work with there). I especially loved the chemistry between Nancy + Edward...this really helps make my job easier. Also, I cannot forget to acknowledge the amazing hair and make-up that was done by Nicole DeAnne!

Shane + Hillary were married on April 18th at the LDS temple in Redlands. You may recall their lovely faces from the engagement session I posted featuring them a few months ago. You may also recall me saying that Shane is my cousin and I that I always love shooting family weddings. Despite the slight case of anxiety (eek) to perform as best as I can, I definitely look forward to each time I get to capture such a wonderful day for people that I call family.
Since Justin was away at Coachella and unable to shoot with me on this day I asked my other cousins Jason and Emily, the fab husband and wife duo team that make up Roger Ruth Photography, to help me out and they rocked it!
