Zipadee do-dah, zipadee yayy, my-oh-my what a wonderful day!!!!! Wahooooo, we're back up and running! After much back and forth with our hosting company and the good people at Into the Darkroom we FINALLY were able to figure out exactly what was causing such big problem on our photo blog! I can't even believe how hard it was to NOT blog! We have been trying to blog faithfully for more than two years now, it has almost become a habit ritual in our personal and professional daily life. We are so glad to have it back! So keep on the edge of your seats ladies and gentlemen because we have a ton of posts to catch up on!
The first post to play catch-up on is from our mini vacation a few weeks ago up in Idyllwild with the Kaiser family. Nate's parents own this sweet little cabin there and this was our second time staying in it. Life has definitely changed since our first visit there over almost a year and a half ago, we've added two more kids to the mix! We had a full house, made pasta, stayed up late watching Curb your Enthusiasm, ate cookies, played at the park, and lastly (but certainly not least) we enjoyed a HUGE plate of Nate's famous french toast mountains!
When we first arrived Nate had already set up a little nature office for himself...

yeah!!!! we had so much fun with you guys! i LOVE LOVE LOVE the shot of hud and sloan...so stinkin cute. the framing is just perfect! now that we know we can all squeeze into the 2 bedroom just imagine what we'll do with all the extra space once they complete the addition :) here's to many many more trips up there!

As I mentioned in the previous post, I had a ton of fun editing the following images from Amy + Victor's fabulously amazing wedding! Seriously, the day just kept getting better, and Better, and BETTER, and.. the details just kept getting better, and Better and BETTER... You get my point. The day started off at Hotel Casa 425in Claremont. We had never been to this hotel and were pleasantly surprised by it's simple, modern feel.
Since Amy + Victor had a "school" themed wedding, Victor sent his groomsmen over with a gift for Amy. It was a 3ft trophy! Amazing!
Amy + Victor really wanted to attend their cocktail hour, for reasons which you will soon see, so they decided to break the rules a bit and see each other before the ceremony. It's always awesome when couples decide to do this, as it gives them a special moment alone, before all the fun begins.
The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception all took place at the Claremont Colleges. We have shot here many times before, but have never seen it transformed so beautifully for a wedding!
Here's my favorite shot of the day! Loving the vine action!
And of course, Wally was in attendance at the wedding! She was very excited for her Mommy and Daddy to get married! PS, Wally also makes a cameo on our new website's homepage.
They seriously had one of the most entertaining cocktail hours ever! Complete with a Tarot card reader, Martini glass mashed potato bar, Apple Martini bar, Polaroid picture booth in front of a chalkboard, and awesome hors d'oeuvres!
Chris Albanese of Argyle Events was the coordinator extraordinaire that made sure every detail was perfect! He did an amazing job, and we can't wait to work with him again in the future!
This reception came complete with a Big Band!
Just when we thought the night was about to wind down, all of the guests were ushered into the Auditorium of Big Bridges where Amy + Victor greeted their friends and family with an amazing choreographed dance on the stage. The guests continued to party on, with beats from Amy + Victor's High School years. It definitely took us back to our High School days!
And, YES, ladies and gentlemen, Amy + Victor ended the night with a bang by having an In-N-Out truck waiting outside with parting burgers for their guests!

Today Hudson turns three! We can't hardly believe how fun these past three years been and how fast they have flown by! This morning we woke up Hudson with his favorite breakfast in the world...."circle toast" (aka donut!) and sang "happy birthday" to him. He was super excited! We wanted to put candles in it, but have since misplaced them in our recent move, so we'll have to put candles in his cake.
Hudson is the joy of our lives, he really keeps us on our toes and makes us laugh everyday! We are so thankful to have him around, life would be so boring without him! Happy Birthday little man!
This last photo makes us laugh super hard....Hudson isn't quite coordinated enough yet to hold up his fingers to show us how old he is without trying reeeeeeeaaaaalllly hard! So funny, he almost has it right, we promise he's not trying to flip off the camera!
